How is your new pet adjusting to your home?*
If there were additional vaccinations needed for the pet, have they been completed or scheduled?*

If additional vaccinations are needed, they would be shown at the bottom of the Medical Report provided by Safe Home Rescue. SHR provides two distemper vaccines for each pet, and if they were not with us long enough to obtain both, we offer the second free. If not, Starch Pet Hospital, University West Pet Clinic, and Prairie View Animal Hospital offer one free exam for all pets adopted from Safe Home Rescue.

What kind of food are your feeding your pet?*

We would recommend ProPlan or another high quality food where the first ingredient is meat and has limited corn/soy/wheat and no animal by-products. The better the food, the less waste in the litter box and better health for the pet, especially the skin/coat.

We have reduced fees for multiple adoptions: one kitten under 5 months is $80 / 2 for $130, Kittens over 5 months $60 / 2 for $100 even if they are adopted separately. We also have multiple adoption discounts for adult cats.

We are always looking for more temporary homes. Would you be interested in providing temporary care in your home or know anyone who may be? Safe Home Rescue provides all supplies and vet care, so there are no out of pocket expenses.*
